General Guidance Information

FALL 2017 Registration Information

The Tesoro Guidance Department will begin Fall 2017 Registration for current students February 28th.


All students will meet one-on-one with their Academic Advisor during their assigned English classes.  The schedule is as follows:

  • Juniors: February 28th - March 10th
  • Sophomores: March 13th - March 17th
  • Freshmen: March 22th - March 28th

During the registration process students will participate in the following activities: 

  1. Review graduation and college admission requirements
  2. Receive Fall 2017 teacher course placement recommendations
  3. Discuss any questions or changes with their Academic Advisor
  4. Discuss remediation and summer school options  (if necessary)
  5. Parents to review and/or make requested changes with their student through parent portal

All course selections/changes must be made in the Parent Portal  Deadline to make changes through parent portal are follows: 

Juniors (March 17th)Soph (March 24th)Freshman (March 31)
