Cheryl Des Palmes, NBCT

About Ms. Des Palmes....

CHERYL DES PALMES, Ms. C, Miss C or MSC (her maiden name begins with a “C”, and the name has just stuck), is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton where she earned a B.A. in theatre arts and an M.S. in secondary education.  She is a National Board Certified Teacher in career and technical education with an emphasis on arts and communication - one of only four in the Capistrano Unified School District and the only NBCT at Tesoro High school.  She was voted Tesoro High School’s Teacher of the Year 2008 and was also named Capistrano Unified School District’s High School Teacher of the year, 2008. In addition, Ms. Des Palmes works for the California Arts Project and serves on the OC Cappies Steering Committee. At home (when she has the chance to be there) she enjoys watching movies with her husband and playing with her new lil' bundle of joy, Sophia Marie.
