Welcome to Mr. Harnett's AP US History website. This school year begins my seventeenth year as a teacher. I received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia, a teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University, a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John's College, and I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D in History at the University of California at San Diego. While I enjoy teaching and studying all aspects of US history, I'm particularly interested in the history of American political and intellectual thought.
