Career Center / Tesoro High School :

The Career Center (located between Guidance and the library) see the note posted on either side of the doors for hour of operation.  Students have access to computers, college, scholarship, career, military information including picking up a work permitThere are also search engine sites students may access to explore college and career information.

To enroll in a ROP class or if you have questions come to the Career Center and see Mrs. Marquez, or contact her via school loop or email jmmarquez@capousd.org, phone number: (949) 234-5303.  ROP classes are offered in the fall and spring and we also offer summer ROP classes.  We are currently enrolling for the fall 2015! 

ROP classes available on campus during the bell: 

* (NEW ROP CLASS)  Art of Animation

* Small Business Management/Entrepreneurship

* Sports Medicine 1A

* (NEW ROP CLASS) Introduction to Surgical Technologist

* (NEW ROP CLASS) Robotics

Work Permits:

To obtain a new work permit download the application on the THS website ROP/Career Center or you may pick one up in the Career Center.  Bring the completed work permit application to the Career Center to have a work permit issued for the new school year.  


College Visits:

Look for colleges in the fall from September 2015 - January 2016.  Presentations are open to all students before school and during lunch time. This is a great way for students to meet admission representatives.
